In Caroline's words
How would you describe this season’s collection?
This collection is called ‘Supernova’ and is designed to make today’s woman shine: being strong and free, always the main mantra in my creations. Fluid and airy, our silhouettes with pure lines blend with the strength of breathtaking details. Plunging necklines, fitted waists and defined shoulders are offering a spectacular look. New beautiful fabric and lace are being introduced, as well as the refinement of satin organza for an ultimum touch and feel of Haute Couture.
What was the inspiration?
Each dress is named after a star’s name, as the optimum continuity of a celestial theme which continues to inspire me this season.
Do you have a favourite dress this year?
Nova is my personal favourite, I felt very inspired working with different volumes and textures, beautiful balloon sleeves in very fine organza contrasting with a very modern cotton lace embroidery, the definition of modern elegance.
How would you style it?
The lace details are already catching attention, I will wear Nova with loose hair paired with gold/ pearl earrings and beautiful open heels in a nude tone.
What is the quintessential Caroline Takvorian bride?
My bride is a natural and instinctive woman.
Feminine but self confident, she wants pieces of character for this very special day
If you could pick one woman to style, who would it be?
There is strength and style in all women and couldn’t be able to name just one.
Best kept parisian secret?
Strolling in the evening in Paris remains sublime and breathtaking.
Many of our brides, after their fitting in our flagship of Pigalle, enjoy the freedom and the “joie de vivre” of this place, between trendy restaurants and bars and the famous Moulin Rouge!
