In Caroline's words
How would you describe this season’s collection?
In this collection, « Into the light », I remain loyal to my DNA. You will find the plunging backs, the work on the sleeves and the necklines but I also wanted to have fun working with different volumes on the skirts from the fitted one to the A shape in organza silk.
The sparkle of the embroidered lace with shiny pearls and silk muslin makes it softly luminous.
What was the inspiration?
I wanted above all to highlight the bride and make her truly special! My bride is self confident with an assumed femininity and because she loves fashion, she has a great attention to détails that makes the difference.
Do you have a favourite dress this year?
My favorite dress is Muse. With balloon sleeves, buttoned cuffs and a large fitted waistband with an open back. It looks modern and feminine and does suit every morphology!
How would you style it?
I would style it with a nude make up and large golden earrings.
What is the quintessential Caroline Takvorian bride?
My bride is a natural and instinctive woman.
Feminine but self confident, she wants pieces of character for this very special day
If you could pick one woman to style, who would it be?
There is strength and style in all women and couldn’t be able to name just one.
Best kept parisian secret?
Strolling in the evening in Paris remains sublime and breathtaking.
Many of our brides, after their fitting in our flagship of Pigalle, enjoy the freedom and the “joie de vivre” of this place, between trendy restaurants and bars and the famous Moulin Rouge!
